Wm Alexander & Son was founded in 1858 when William Alexander set up business at Dripps Mill in Waterfoot, just South of Glasgow. In these early days, the business met the needs of the local farming community providing a milling service and the supply of animal feeds. We are Glasgow's leading animal feed merchant specialising in Equestrian, Farm and Pet Supplies.

Stocks of over 1000 lines of feed and associated supplies are held at Dripps Mill. With a nationwide supplier base, the total number of lines which can be supplied stretches to many thousands of items. Furthermore the premises are registered with the Royal Pharmaceutical Society of Great Britain and the Animal Medicines Regulatory Authority allowing animal medicines to be supplied.
